year my family makes a list of what we are thankful
for, then on thanksgiving night we share our list
and offer a toast. This year, I am most thankful for
my family, and for the growing number of Americans
(and others around the world) who have awoken to the
horrors of abortion and become pro-life. We are clearly

to other examples of dehumanizing groups of people

had an abortion. It was the smartest decision I ever
made. I was not, emotionally, physically or financially
prepared to have a child. I am totally comfortable with
my decision, the same as others I know who have undergone
the procedure. This P.A.S. syndrome is a bunch of lies
created by people like you. If you keep telling people
they have some psychological disease, they probably
will. This is what ultimately offended me about your
site 'Beautiful Women Don't Kill Their Children!' What
is that supposed to mean? Only ugly women do? The whole
fact that you are classifying women by looks is pathetic.
I suppose only beautiful women are anorexic than? Another
thing, because someone has a different opinion than
you, does not make him or her wacko. It does however,

-Abortion -Syndrome does exist, we aren't animals, we
can't just kill our child and pretend it didn't happen.
Some women cope after terminating their child by going
into denial and making excuses as to why it was OK.
In reality though... all the excuses they make can be
better used for the decision of adoption. "Beautiful
women don't kill their children" refers to the
woman's inward beauty. It is a very ugly act to kill
one's child.. wouldn't you agree? Different opinions
are great.... but terminating a child is not an opinion,
it is an "act of violence" against a vulnerable 2nd
party. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your child.
Open your heart, accept the truth, grieve your child,
and take responsiblity for your actions... only then
will you free yourself from the bondage of denial. |

I
became pregnant when i was 15 yrs old, long story short
my mom pretty much forced me into having an abortion,
i was depressed, sad, lonely, and very much in denial.
I didn't know anything about abortion. I was told at
the "clinic" that it was not a baby, just tissue and
cells....they were just "terminating" the pregnancy,
ect. From the moment i awoke from my general anethisia,
i was numb, i blocked out the pain for almost 10 yrs,
oh and i was "pro-choice" or should i say "pro-abortion"?
Well about 1 mth ago i was doing an online search completly
unrelated to abortion. But i saw the listing for Abortion
TV and felt compelled to go check it out...keep in mind
that a mth or so prior to this i had actually debated
with some online friends about how women deserved to
be able to "choose" i believed i was very pro-choice.
As i read the site, i was mortified, i read the whole
site, it took me days,then i sent the link out to some
ppl....some of those ppl changed their minds. I kept
reading, kept searching for more sites on the truth....and
there began my greiving for the child i never knew.
The child i let them rip from my womb. It is murder,
there is no doubt about it. I have recently volenteered
to work for birth right, unfortunatly, i am a sahm of
2 little ones, and there isn't much i can do without
them. Anyway there is the short version of my story.
I am now very pro-life. |

hi,
my name is April and i have 2 little girls 5 and 3 they
have diffrent fathers and i resantly had a abortion
5 months ago.and i think of it everyday but i was plesenta
prevea from month One. i was in a 3yr. relationship
with a very violant person. i was on the Depo shot.
i was beaten by this so called man alot. when i became
pregnant Jan 25 2000 he became even worse. it was my
3 yr olds birthday when i finaly left March 3rd he hurt
me really bad that day. i just figured if he is still
hurting me with his child inside ofme then he will never
change. so i took my kids and left and called the police
for the first time in 3years. And i never thought i
would go through with getting rid of the child but i
did. i was 4 mon. s pregnant i was so scared and alone
my parents under stud why i wanted to do it but they
didn't believe in it either. i grew up in church my
whole life. i new right from wrong. but this was a high
risk pregnance i was consantly bleeding and in the ER
through out the 4 months i carryed and all i keep thinking
about was what am i going to do? well here i am a single
parent of 2 and their fathers are nothing. out of the
almost 6 yrs. i've received 14.43 from one father, and93.56
fromthe other. i get no help but from my mom and dad.
so i made the right choice, but i do think about that
baby every day. and i no in my heart that myself and
my children and that baby are better off. now i have
no ties with the man that hurt me and my children. please
get back with me about how to get over what has happened
... thank you for your time. |

used to be prochoice when iwas younger maybe 13 or 14...but
when i went to high school i had a teacher who taught
the realities...he never gave his own opinion nor did
he try to persuade us either way...he respected us enough
to teach the cold hard FACTS without sugarcoating anything...everyone
after that was sick to their stomachs..ps i went to
an all girl school...when i went to college and later
on the real world...i was sooo amazed by the number
of girls that had abortions...literally everyone i know
who have had them has had way more than 1 or 2...i know
one girl whose had seven...shes my age..21..and they
are so freely talkative about it...my college roomate
used to like discussing it with me bc i was sooo pro
life...and she the opposite...one day i let the anger
get the best of me and just said mean things about these
girls i knew...to my surprise she started crying hysterically...she
had an abortion when she was 17...well i put my foot
in my mouth...i never apologized for my veiws i just
shut my mouth while she cried and tried to explain her
situation...i felt soo bad i started crying for her
...as pro life as i am i still feel that you do as women
need to show some compassion...obviosly some of these
girls are so desperate and scared they felt there was
no option...they felt like they had no choice...doesnt
sound pro choice to me...but still ill never understand...im
not against birth control or contreception so i feel
like that is the responsibility of the female to make
sure she doesnt put herself in a predicament of having
an"unwanted" child...please girls take care of yourself
because no one else will! |

Most women could not do this though because our lives

believe abortion for any reason, is murder. I am a senior
in high school and to graduate, i am required to do
a research project. I chose abortion, because I am so
passionate on the subject. My mother calls me a "rare
breed". meaning there aren't too many people out there
who think like i do. I think abortion is wrong. Nobody
should ever kill an innocent baby. even under the rare
circumstances of raper or incest. the child should not
suffer for man's crimes and immorality. This is the
first year i will be able to vote. i am definatley voting
for George W. Bush! I think everyone out there should

noticed that you don't show aborted fetuses during the
first 8 weeks of pregnancy. A fetus in the first of
weeks of pregnancy does not look like any of the pictures
that you post on your web site. Of course not. You want
women to feel in all cases, that they aborted a viable
fetus. This omission would lead the uneducated into
believing that the fetus looks like the pictures that
you posted from the very start of conception. These
pictures are of fetuses of women who are beyond the
first trimester. The web site also states that the pictures
are for educational purposes and the site rated PG-13.
I guess that's because you want the pregnant, ignorant
13 year old girls to be misguided. Perhaps you feel
that there should be many, many 12 and 13 year old "mothers".
After conducting a very extensive research project,
I have found that by not aborting, many of the anti-choice
advocates believe that there will be more babies available
for adoption. Again, the educated know better than that.
We'll just continue to find more and more babies who
were born, in garbage cans. And many babies having babies
- who will be raising this country's future. Your purpose
is not to educate, but to deceive. Have you web site.

the point completely. The reason most people are against

and gives a child life. Why do you view adoption so
